I was told shingles on scalp by a nurse but I am sick with this problem

I have pain, burning and little bumps like on my scalp and a rash on my eat that leads just a little patch of a rash near the eat. I have been nauseous with fever and chills, was told by nurse it was shingles, I been on vertex for 3 days now and still sick on and off and the sun and heat make the pain like needles into my head worse and burning, does my diagnose sound right? a week before I dyed  my hair and a day before it came on I mowed grass. What is your opinion? I also only had very mild case of pox as a kid. Also I have had a history of rash on my chest and some on my eat in the past and the eat part if I touched it and peeled the crust off it would bleed. But what is going on now is very painful and making me so sick :( please help me decide!

No not the same Area, my heals still hurt everyday, now I have a rash like bumps around my ear and on the scalp, when I touch the rash area it hurts bad and it burns on and off. Concerned if the heel problem may be related to the scalp rash now like both ends of my nerves in the body. Has anyone here experienced anything similar to my problems?

Was it the same area you had Zoster earlier? Most unlikely to have recurrence in herpes.

I also have  had a severe foot problem for 9 months now, was told plantar fasciaitis, its heal lain that's awful. My concern now its maybe I already had shingles once and did not realize out and that's why I have thus heal pain that won't go away, been to physical therapy and there is no change :( maybe I have nerve damage and the shingles have came back again. I do live a somewhat stressful life that I know isn't much help.

Herpes Zoster as it looks like, needs to be treated with oral Acyclovir ( if the diagnosis is confirmed), at the earliest to prevent post herpetic neuralgia.

Sorry about the misspelled words but eat is Ear,I have thought about food allergies but the rash on my chest does come up more often when I'm under stress more, the other thing going on now I do see a Lil blister like bump in my ear area, its just the bumps on my scalp I can't see and it is all staying on left side of scalp down to my ear, I'm worried about it going into my ear as I read out can cause deafness.

It sounds like food allergies and/or seborrheic dermatitis.
