In future only use treatments recommended for yourself. Discuss ways to control your acne with your dermatologist. If you are looking for a topical treatment, Differin is very effective and generally well tolerated. If your skin reacts easily to topical treatments, an oral medication such as Oxytetracycline may be better for you. Discuss the features and benefits of these with your dermatologist.

Hi,
You have caused an injury to the skin on your face by peeling off the superficial layers of the skin.

This wound will heal but what kind of mark will be left behind or if at all it will cause a scar really depends on your skin type( determined genetically) and how bad thely the skin has been damaged.

It is difficult to ascertain that by just reading about it. Only an examination of the area will reveal the extent of injury.

For now, do not apply any thing to your face , only an antiseptic cream on the red area.
Try and avoid any type of injury/infection to the site.
