Is laser effective for Rosacea

I have sore blisters and lots of spider veins are appearing around my nose. I have been treated in the past with dry ice treatmtents. Recently I have been prescribed Minocin, and Metrogel. The metrogel seems to burn my skin. Does laser work for Rosacea? It is $1,800 for the treatment.

I am 54 years old and recently had my thyroid removed due to cancer. Could my Synthroid meds be aggravating this condition. Could these blisters be facial herpes, shingles. I have had this for about 6 months. I can't get into a dermatologist until September.

Help!

Hi,
Dermatologists have been using Laser for the treatment of Rosacea but it is still not an established line of treatment.

Today, lasers are used to treat these signs of rosacea:
Dilated blood vessels
Persistent redness
Thickening skin on nose and cheeks (also known as rhinophyma).

You can access more information regarding this on the following site.

However for spider veins on the nose the treatment of choice would be Laser vein removal.Facial spider veins in particular were once difficult to treat, but lasers and IPL have made it effortless.

Laser spider vein removal has become the leading treatment for spider veins because of its versatility and ease with eliminating smaller and medium sized spider veins.

The skin manifestations of Synthroid are hair loss, flushing. Any medication has the potential to cause an allergic reaction. So the blisters can be a part of it or it maybe something else entirely.

I use Cliniques new Redness Solutions. The daily cream has been shown to reduce the appearance of red facial veins with continued and regular use. I also like the Rosaliac range by La Roche-Posay.
