Is this what I'm dreading, or could it be something else?

I'm 35, and slightly heavier than I'd like. My BMI is 30.
I suffer from hydradenitis suppurativa around my groin, upper thighs, and on the pubic region, and fibromyalgia. Lately I've been having mild discomfort in my natal cleft. It was only when underwear rubbed at first (3/10 pain score) but I've noticed today that it's hurting when I walk despite not wearing underwear that rubs (3/10), it's mildly uncomfortable when I'm not moving (on and off slight discomfort 1-2/10), and when I touch it, it hurt even more (6/10). My husand had a look and I've got a weird swelling in a perfect line, which measures 1.5-2 inches in length. It looks like almost like a keloid scar. It's slightly raised and slightly red.

Has anyone experienced similar, or have an idea what this is? I already suffer from HS and I'm not sure I can handle any other painful condition down there, so I'm terrified about it being a pilonidal abscess. I don't get HS on my natal cleft, but do sometimes get it on my buttocks.

Do you have any odd discharge or smell from the area?   Given your other medical conditions- I'd just head to your doctor and have them take a look- that is the best way to get an accurate diagnosis and get the issue dealt with.

Thanks. I was trying to decide whether to head to urgent care over the holiday weekend. I'm away at the moment, and a long way from my surgery. But my HS has flared pretty badly, so I'm going to head to a walk in centre today to get antibiotics for it, so ill get them to take a look. It's still incredibly painful.

I basically think I need cutting in half at the waist.
