Hi there,
Thank you for answering my question. No,she is not on chemo therapy, she's on Faslodex250 mg.shots,Anastrozole 1 mg,and medicine from the doctor for itching and dry skin, plus a cream or lotion they put on her alot. I compared medication she was on before this itching started and
what she's on currently.....not much difference,just more pain meds,asprin,
and breast cancer medicine. She has a hormonial type cancer treatment,no breast/ lung removal,no chemo and no radiation treatment.
Already tried Benadryl, calamine lotion, take her off her medications one by one to see if any would lessen the itching...didn't work, dermatologist did a biopsy, just said it could be a reaction from medication.....tried EVERYTHING...don't know what to do.She's on Triamcinolone Acetonide
Cream twice a day,0.1% cream and Diphenhydramine HCI 50 mg capsule
for itching every 6 hours and Levocetirizine Dihydrochlorde tablet for itching.

Thank you very much. Keep me posted on what you think about all this medicine if its too much for her you think. She's 73.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
Is your mother on chemotherapy? Some of the chemotherapeutic drugs can cause generalized itching and rashes all over the body. Discuss it with her treating oncosurgeon.Other causes of itchy sores all over body are allergies, dermatitis, urticaria or hives, scabies, pityriasis rosea. She may take an antihistamine like Benadryl for relief in symptoms. Application of calamine lotion may provide a soothing effect. It is possible that these sores have become secondarily infected due to constant  itching. Consult an experienced dermatologist. Keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
