Itchy raised bumps on skin

I have these hive like spots on my body.
It started out with itchy areas on my thighs and once I itched them, they turned into hive like spots that became even itchier.
It's been about 3 days with this and it's gotten worse. So far, I have 7 of these itchy spots and they have remained around the thigh, pelvis, and lower back area.

Is this an allergic reaction? If so, I have an epipen, should I take it?

So sorry to be late in responding- how are the bumps doing today?  I wouldn't take an epi-pen for that, as long as you are freely breathing and it's just the rash you are seeing.  It's very difficult to say for sure if this is an allergic reaction without a doctor being able to look at the issue and have a bit more of your medical history.  If you have an epi-pen, I'd imagine you do have a known allergy issue with something?  Is there something you came into contact with that leads you to believe this is an allergy?
