It sounds as if the symptoms are being addressed, but not the cause. Everything you've mentioned inhibits itch. I recommend dial antibacterial soap in a dispenser bottle, not bar because bar soap can become contaminated. Shower rather than bathe. Afterwards, apply betadine solution diluted by half. Use s clean half cotton ball for different areas. You may want to try applying apple cider vinegar diluted and applied in the same manner. If you use the vinegar, apply the betadine afterwards. If the vinegar stings, it may be a fungal issue. If that's the case, the above will help. Also take a shot of the vinegar followed by a glass of water a few times daily. Shower as often as you can. At least once per day. Organic coconut oil to moisturise also has an effect in the case that it's fungal. Wash your sheets daily, preferably white sheets that can be bleached. Or an old colored set of sheets that you don't mind ruining with bleach. If there spots are weepy or have a honey gold crust, it may be impetigo. If you think it's important and it's not going away let me know. I've been dealing with it for a while and am winning. Antibiotics can weaken your immune system. Their use should always be reserved for extreme illness. Otherwise your system can build antibiotic resistant pathogens. Steroids can be harmful. So the same logic applies.
Were you being treated by a doctor for the viral infection? If so, and even if not- get to the doctor to have them take a look. Sounds like it could be a reaction from the viral infection, but you will want a doctor to check on the spots, especially if they are getting worse.
