Anything that can help besides steroid creams?

I've been using candacort (hydrocortisone cream ) for about a week as I had a yeast infection, I stopped using it a week ago but have been worried as my foreskin didn't feel normal and reading these side effects posted by others it sounds like mine symptoms, thinning of penis skin and irritation under Neath it ..Ive been to doctor and he gave me novasone cream bit I'm too worries about taken it as it's stronger and could possibly make worst ..any advice?

If you have a yeast infection, things won't feel normal until it gets addressed- so that not normal feeling may be just healing or the yeast infection itself more then the cream.  How long did your doctor tell you to use the cream?  Have you mentioned the side effects to your doctor?  From what I understand about novasone- it shouldn't be used on a fungal infection.  

Sounds like you need to talk to your doctor to be more certain of what you have  so you can address it with the correct cream.  Give your doctor a call and have more of a conversation so you can be more confident in the treatment.  Feel better soon!

Thanks for the reply, yeh the doctor said yeast infection was gone from the cream I used first, the novasone he gave because I said my forskin and underneath didn't feel normal, but I have heard it can leave serious markings and etc but thanks for info

And doctor just said to use cream twice a day for a week, so that's all I did .was actually once a day as I was getting worried at that point because was beginning to feel uncomfortable

I'm not a doctor, but I believe it's most commonly used for skin conditions like eczema.  Give your doctor a call and ask why he gave it to you- this might make you more comfortable with using it.
