Large pink/red mark on breast, more hairy than rest of chest

Hello, I am an 18 year old male who has had a large pink/red mark on my breast since around puberty -- it does resemble a birthmark though. It is circular, centered on the areola, and pretty well covers the whole breast. It isn't getting larger, but has almost twice as much hair growth as the rest of my chest. It almost appears as though the ring of hair around the areola has expanded to encompass the entire breast. Is this just an individual thing or is this an actual condition? And is there any recommendations on how to best manage the hair?

Hello,
This large, pink hairy area is Becker’s nevus. The nevus generally first appears as an irregular pigmentation on the torso or upper arm (and gradually enlarges irregularly, becoming thickened and often hairy (hypertrichosis). It is a benign lesion so treatment is generally not necessary except for cosmetic purposes. Shaving or trimming can be effective in removing unwanted hair, while laser hair removal may offer a longer-lasting solution.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Warm regards.
