When i have sex i usually always use a condom but i have had sex a few time with out one and some tiny little red/pink/white bumps that look like tinny pimples or blisters came up around my vagina. Can these be warts or a STD? I have appointment with my doctor but its not for a few more days and i am freaking out! They do not burn or swell but they kinda itch. If anyone can help me out i would be sooooo greatful!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Various causes for lumps on vagina could be genital warts or herpes. Genital herpes causes more of sores or lesions than lumps.  These lesions are usually itchy, burning and quite painful. Genital warts are caused by the human papilloma virus or HPV.  These bumps resemble cauliflower and can grow in numbers. One of the more likely causes of vaginal lumps is known as epidermoid or sebaceous cysts. Bartholin's abscess and ingrown hairs can cause lumps in the vagina. Your doctor will  take history physically examine you and  may consider tests like viral Culture, HSV FA, Viral PCR, and serology.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

hey, what your talking about could be a few things. If it is a type of herpes. It sounds like HSV1. There are two different types of herpes. HSV1 and then HSV2. type1 is normally around the mouth, but can be easily transmitted to the genital area. type2 is usually around the genitals, this type is easily trasmitted to the mouth. But if you do get a positive test back saying you have HSV1 its not so bad....if that makes any sense. 50-80% of the US carry HSV1 and 45% of those people never show any symptoms. Most people that have it dont freak out too much. If you you want it gone, doctor prescribe drugs to help control outbreaks. But with HSV1 you may have frequent outbreaks on your mouth, when its in your genital area the majority of people with HSV1 only have outbreaks once mabey  two times in their entire life.

It could also be as simple as razor burn and that will go away in about one to two weeks.

But you should deffinatly go get it checked out if your not sure but to tie you over until your doc. app., hopefully this will help.
Hope it helps!!
