My husband is a T1 Diabetic and has recurring ringworm any suggestions?

My husband is a T1 diabetic who is having a major outbreak of ringworm.  We have 2 cats and 2 dogs.  The dogs have both been to the vet and have been cleared as being ringworm free.. The vet said there is no need to test the cats as they have not been outside in 12 years (other then for their once a year shots) , but he did provide me a spray to wash them with any way.   He is taking Lamisil (only 5 days in) which has been running his blood sugar high.  He also has a prescription anti fungal cream.  I am changing the sheets, and towels daily.. He is cleaning it 3X a day with unfiltered apple cider vinegar.  A friend suggested putting the biggest (the size of a persons palm on the back of his leg) under a heat lamp for an hour a day.   Is there ANYTHING else anyone can think of we should be doing?  He works in a warehouse and my belief is he may be getting it from there but he can't quit...

Did the doctor give him any tablets to take?  There are a few options for oral medications that he might ask about.  Other options that are different then Lamisil.  I'd highly recommend he call the doctor and let the doctor know about the blood sugar issues so they can work on another treatment path that doesn't mess with that balance.  Other wise, make sure he's staying hydrated, keeping an eye on the carb intake, and keep up with the treatment.

If he thinks he may be getting it from where he is working, he may need to have a talk with someone in charge over the facility- this is something that puts people at risk and they should be aware of it.
