My whole body itches like crazy!

My skin, usually after showering, itches like crazy - this has affected for quite a while now. It's driving me nuts because it itches so badly. I've done some research myself, and it says that the skin produces natural oils, and showering too much can strip those away, which makes skin dry and itchy. If this is the case, should I take a break from showers for a while?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Thanks for your question.  Showering is an important thing to do. So, what can you do to eliminate drying of your skin? First, what type of soap do you use? Perhaps a moisturizing soap bar would be better. Second, when you get out of the shower, you can try patting dry the skin with a towel and immediately applying a good body moisturizer. https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/dry-skin  Let us know if this helps!
