Although the above is true, that doesn't mean that's what caused it. You could have bumped it, overworked it, or any number of other things. Vaccines cause muscle pain in some at the injection site, and in some pain in joints and muscles throughout the body. It wouldn't be as likely to be just on the outer part of one thigh. That sounds more like you put some pressure on that area, maybe even the way you slept on it. You also don't say if it was your first dose or second, as it's the second that is most likely to have bad side effects. If it was the one dose vaccine, then yeah, the one dose can cause the problems. I had my first dose recently, and for a couple days the muscle they injected hurt a lot. It's gone now. But I haven't experienced the 2d dose yet.
Hello and thank you for your question. According to the CDC, throughout the body, muscle pain is a side effect of the Covid 19 vaccine. Therefore, yes, this could be because of your vaccine. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/expect/after.html Does taking any over the counter products like tylenol or ibuprofen help?
