Pimples, everywhere.

I get pimples (some are actually pimples with puss and everything... most are just little red dots) all over my stomach, hasn't happened to me in a while. My 14 year old son has been getting them all over his legs (mostly thigh and buttocks) and on his lower back and stomach. It's bad, like he's just covered. He showers daily and everything. Should he use a special soap? My older son never had this issue. It's pretty bad, he's afraid to go swimming because of embarrassment. He told me yesterday he won't wear shorts anymore because they're starting to spread from his thigh to the lower leg area. Poor kid. Some health details on him: 6 foot 7, 320-330 pounds, told me recently that he smokes I'm trying to help him quit. As far as we know he isn't allergic to anything. He's been using the same body wash and laundry detergent since forever... I don't know....

hopefully hes not overweight, but smoking usually suppresses the immune system, despite the hazards of smoke, it actual protect from certain inflammation disorders.
Has he been checked for CELIACS disease, did the rashes start when it became hotter wetter? What about seasonality. smoking is not good for the body.
