It seems just like a normal mole- have you always had this? Has it changed at all recently? Does it itch or cause you pain?

The area generally itches but I don't think it's localised to that region and it's mainly at night. I went to my GP and she said the only thing she could find was smaller than a pinhead/black head.
If that's what you saw she said but as it's an area I can't see I hope it was the same.
However yes I guess I just need to see if it changes shape in the future?

If you saw a doctor about it, and that's what they said- I would go with their take on it- unless you start to see any warning signs like it changes shape/size, starts to hurt or itch, etc.
