Sore between anus and Vagina

For the past couple of days after intercourse, I have been in a painful situation. In the area between the anus and vagina I seem to have swelling, its VERY painful to touch,clean and some spotting. There is a lump near the anus that leads me to believe it could be hemorrhoids but Ive been using ointments,sitz baths, and tucks pads to get it to shrink down but nothing seems to be working. It is still sore as the day I discoverd it. As i examine it, it looks very raw and when i put the cream or Tucks on it ,it burns really bad. It seems to burn even worse when I pee and it gets in the area. Is this just an extremely swollen Hemorrhoid or something else?

nothing has been found out??? i’m having the same problem but I’ve never had sex. i don’t finger myself they look like tears like i ripped my skin or something. Fortunately is doesn’t hurt when I use the bathroom, but when i shower and clean it, it burns so bad I jump. if you know anything please let me know :((

Same here, without the no sex part but during intercouse my boyfriend would sometime grab my but so hard I feel like he prob teared that area. Then when I would shower it burns. Same scenario if I would use off-brand toilet paper. This can irritate that area. Also too much moistness. I recommend using softer tissue papers, even better use the old dab method. Theb to control the moistness, take regular warm showers, dab the area do not wipe, and an over the counter ointment that won't dry the are or overly moisten it.

I have been a widow for many years, so intercourse is not an issue as there is none.  I have been using Preparation H, Tucks and Vagisil.  Nothing works.  Sharp pain in the area.  I do not want to go to MD for this as I am very shy about these things.

I have had these off and on since my hysto.... I went to my WOMEN doctor and told her it hurts during sex and I get sores .... she swabbed it for STD.... nothing... she told me after a hydro, some women are dry and need lube... well u live the heck out of both of us, and I still get them.... I get them after sex and when using rough toilet paper for to long....

i’ve had this exact same problem its not a hemroid it’s a small cyst and your having a allergic reaction to your soap or washing detergent this is so painful

I’ve recently been having sex a lot and noticed that it burned during and after sex. I didn’t have any stds. Thought maybe it’s just my anatomy. Last I had sex was like a week ago and right now it’s burning and uncomfortable but because I just had to wash it in the shower it’s irritated now. It is red burning and swollen in the vagina hole area and below it so the taint which makes me think it has to be from stretching it in sex. To this day I’ve never had sex that wasn’t painful or uncomfortable for me.

I recently discovered a sore in the same area as well, milder than what you've explained. It is most likely herpes and it can be treated with medication from your doctor

I've been to 2 doctors. The first one said it was from more vad bacteria then good. She gave me a pill and it got a little better for maybe 2 weeks. The doctor I seen today. I got the impression he wasn't sure what it was. He said something about dry cracked skin and want to use a cream with steroids in it. After reading everyone elses post. This showed up around the same time 2 of my kids got ring worm and my boyfriend got cellulitis. So, I was thinking some kind of fungus. I noticed I got toe fungus too. It might be contagious, cuz when it first showed up I I thought taking a hot bath would help. It didn't, but right after that my son got ring worm on his but and lower back. Maybe from bath tub. Also, I seen someone had PID. I also have had that. Would be nice to know what this is and how to get rid of it. I've had it for over a year now. I thought maybe had something to do with all the operations I've had on my stomach. 3 csections, my appendix out, a historectomy, and gall bladder removed. Sure would be nice to know what it is.

I had same problem last summer and got it again this weekend . I was told it is a fungal infection due to the moist air we have had. I live in Ohio. It was recommended I use a hair dryer on low to keep the area dry. Also prescribed clotrimazole and betamethasone cream.

My fiance has been complaining that she burns between her vagina and her anus and it hurts when she moves,walks,sits,and pees so I looked at it and it has sores that looks like popped blisters and it's all red I don't know what it is but I'm determined to find out any suggestions?

I have the same problem, I first got it about a year ago and after awhile it went away. But it came back recently which is weird because I haven't had intercourse for over 2 months now so I don't think it could be from that. I don't want to go to the doctor (I feel very uncomfortable showing parts) Has anyone went and got results?? Let me know ways to treat it.

Although all the post are old.  I would like to tell you that I also had a painful lump there as well.  I thought it was a boil or hemmoriod but it turned out to be cellulitis (infection of the skin)caused by shaving my vaginal area.  I just hope the antibiotics work quick and make it go away.  Hope this helps you all a bit.

Same problem here... Only difference with me is that my sores don't have scabs, I haven't had any stomach pains,  and I didn't notice any bumps. It Burns to pee, it's painful to wipe,  and when I got my mirror to get a closer look, it even Burns to open it up to look at it. I did have unprotected sex with a man a few days ago and I didn't feel like this. And he was not my normal partner.  Please help!!!!!!!!

i had server chicken pox 2 years ago and since then i find it sore when having sex, and i have noticed a small rough lump on the skin between my anus and vagina. it is very sore and i dont really want to show it to a doctor as i am not comfortable showing my private areas to people i dont know. please get back to me soon

I have been having some issues with that area as well. It is, on me, the scar from my epesiotomy down to the rectal area. Its severely swollen, burning and itchy. Not so much around the vagina, just that one area. My diet has been the same and I havent had any intercourse in about a month. Could this be from my pelvic inflammatory disease? I have had hemmeroids before and this is nothing like that.

Ok so my  boyfriend is pretty large and we had a quickie the other day and yesterday i noticed the space between my vagina and my anus was very sore and irritated so I checked it out. I seem to have 4 maybe even 5 small cuts in the area. And today I also noticed a bump. Neither of us knows of any current STD's but I'm nervous. I just need the pain to go away it is unbearable. It makes it hard to concentrate on anything.

Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination,but it can be a boil,anal hematoma,anal fissure or anal haemorrhoids(esp thromobosed haemorrhoids).Usually fissures and haemorrhoids coexist and chances of it being any of them are more.

I would suggest that you get it examined from a general surgeon as mode of treatment for all are different.

Hemorrhoids are the blood vessels around the anus. They wouldn't cause a bump or irritation on the perennium area.  That's the area of skin between. But if you feel a lump or bulge next to the anus, that's a hemorrhoid. Preperation H works well.
refrain from sitting on hard surfaces. Don't strain especially on the toilet. drink allot of water. Eat allot of fruit. The doctor won't do anything unless it is really bad.
They usually go back in by themselves.

I have exactly the same problem.  Have you gone to the doctor yet?  Any diagnosis?  I just got back from my honeymoon; lots of sex, lots of food...  I'd love to know what's going on.
