Please help... recurring red patch of skin above Upper lip

Please help... recurring red patch of skin above upper lip... had for a few minths then went away for about 6 months! Now back again same spot.... derm says its perioral dermatitis or Rosacae/ eczema..... on oral antibiotics for 3 months now ... redness and little pumps one day and next day almost clear again.... very frustrating.... does anyone have any idea what this is or I can do???? Could it be fungal?

That is a very long time to be on antibiotics, have you told the doctor that the treatment is working- what are their thoughts?  Can you go for a second opinion?

He is sending me for a second opinion next week. He’s sure it’s nothing serious but doesn’t see why it’s not completely staying away. It gets better and then a few days later reoccurring
