My son has had warts on his legs since he was 2. He's now 9 years old. One came up on his ankle and it has spread into dozens since then on his legs and feet. We've tried over the counter stuff and that didn't work. We've went to a dermatologist even since everytime we tried something it seemed like more warts came back than he originally had. They definitely were multiplying. At the dermatologist's office we've tried literally everything: freezing them off, lasering them off, numbing and then cutting them off, and numbing and then burning them off. None of it worked and they came back worse each time. He's had eczema on his legs since he was a baby. The eczema is mild now but I've heard it can be linked with warts. I've tried the natural remedy stuff you hear about (banana peels, etc) and that hasn't done anything unfortunately. I've had him start taking vitamins daily, starting about 4 days ago, to help build his immune system due to the recommendation my brother in law (a pharmacist) gave me. My son gets teased relentlessly about the warts and we live in an area that stays extremely hot from about May until early November and he plays sports so they're easily noticible. It breaks my heart having him cry about how much it hurts when the eczema is itching and it's hard for him to scratch because of the warts or have him sob because he can't understand why this has happened to him and why kids make fun of him. Please, if you know of anything that can help them go away I cannot tell you how appreciative we would be. All he's begged me for is to please help him find a way to make these warts go away before school starts again. Kids can be so cruel and I know how much this hurts him and how much they physically hurt him when his eczema flares up. Thank you for any help you can give me!
