Poison Ivy or something else?

Hello, this is my first time posting here, but I wanted to get some advice before seeing my actual doctor. I started developing a rash with in the last few days. This came after a weekend camping in my native Southern Illinois. I am usually prone to poison ivy, so that really would come to no surprise if i did indeed have it. I am just a little skeptical that it would be poison ivy, with it being cold around here and all. I figure it would have died off. Anyways, I have a rash on my pelvic area (on my penis too), my right leg and on the top side of my hands.

Upon researching the procedure to treat it on my privates, I found a site where a guy thought he had poison ivy there, but it ended up being scabies. This of course sent me into instant super itch mode. I've never had it, and don't know anyone that has it, but i was wanting to see if anyone could identify if this was poison ivy, or -gulp- scabies.

Also to be noted is that at the same time i have come up with this rash, I have also developed a head and chest cold. That is probably not relevant, but perhaps it could be. And when I took a shower last night, my hands got really red, like in the porous areas.

Here are the links to my pics:

Thanks! :)

No, I didn't have a cancre sore. Also, syphilis is hard to contract minus sexual contact, which I don't have. Regardless, the rash has come and gone for the most part.

This is an add on:

I found out that one of my roomates that I camped with has the same exact reaction, in similar spots, and even the same reaction to the hot water as I do. However, our third roommate does not have this reaction, as of yet.

If anyone could help out, that would be fantastic.
