Rash on arms followed by peeling/tender skin

I was wondering what the cause of a rash on the forearms (that eventually spreads over the arm over 1.5 weeks), followed by peeling tender skin in areas where the rash existed is. Apparently, the peeling skin spreads to the palms, thighs, and torso through contact 4 weeks after the rash was first observed.
The rash can be described as small reddish bumps that began in clusters on one arm and were noticed on the other arm a few days later.
Began after borrowing gloves for an indoor soccer game.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These symptoms can be due to contact dermatitis or allergies. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
Also apply some mild topical steroid cream. If the symptoms are severe then you may need oral steroids. Please consult a dermatologist then. Also keep the skin well moisturized.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
