odd rash in my tattoo

Hi, I have five tattoos and never had this problem before. Initially I broke out with a rash on area colored red on my tattoo. The rash had disappeared for about 2 weeks then returned. Only difference is, it is no longer on the red but instead on the blue. It itches like crazy. The first time I had the rash I had squueezed the bumps and a watery substance had came out and there was no odor. It seems to be contained withing the tattoo because it doesn't go past the outline of the tattoo. I don't put any lotion on it nor do I put any ointment of any sort on it.  Any idea what it could be? If so, what can I do to get rid of the rash?

I have the same problem, only in the summer time. A lite cover of pure Emu Oil Twice a day does the trick in about two weeks the bumps are all gone.
If you put it on to thick you might get red blimeses so just a lite cover will do best

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be due to allergic reaction to the inks of the tattoo or an infection caused by using unsterilized equipments. Take some oral antihistaminic like Benadryl and consult a dermatologist as topical steroids and antibiotics may be needed. Also wear cotton clothes and keep the area clean.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
