Scabbing

I was at malaysia for 3 years... was pretty much fine ... during that last month i stayed there, i stopped working at my job, and stayed at my grandmas... not sure what it was, as i am a frequent computer user, but i contracted some really itchy bites, im pretty sure it was normal, one of those that might persist after a month or so... then i went back to NZ , those bites got a little worse ... anyway half of them healed.. the rest kind of scabbed up massively .. its been around 5 months now .. some of the scabs are getting bigger and not healing .... then a month ago ... the bottom part of my thigh started having little red spots... and they started growing and now i have up to 7 big round scabs under my thigh area ...simultaneously all of the  random injuries i would get would end up being massive scabs ... cuts are not included so im not sure as to the nature of all the other injuries... but the problem is , i have been to the GP and they have tried precribing me for scabbies, which  thought was very unusual , regardless it did not work . Its getting uncomfortable now , i am unable to sleep at night as it itches really bad ... as the scabs grew bigger im getting quite worried .... ive had my blood tested for diabetes.. it was a negative.  So far it hasnt really spread... only within the areas... which is under my thighs (multiple scabs) lower shins, 1 scab under my left arm, 1 scab on top of my left arm .

SHould i go to the hospital..? i have an updated pic but i cant seem to find another way to attach it rather than to make a new post

went to the gp today, they took a sample ,
suspect i have something called impetigo , under treatment now ... lets see how that goes.. i really just want to get better . Irritation is starting to effect me, so bad that i no longer have even half the urge to scratch it to me now . Anyway they took the sample to consult a dermatologist, lets hope i get some good solid results.

Also should it cause a diagnostic problem, a biopsy may be indicated.

Itch, pleasure, infection eczema cycle as it is known helps in spread of eczema(dermatitis). For example an infection primarily by a pathogenic bacteria spreads via the itch pleasure factor as an auto-infection.
Antibiotics break the infection part, antihistamines the itch and topical steroids the pleasure itch cycle.
Do consult doc.

and how do they usually start? problem is they take a long time to heal like a very long time, so long that sometimes i acidentally open up the scab again by walking into something or just barely brushing it .. could it be possible that multiple scabs on my forearm , under thigh and low shin be infected by bacteria simultaneously ?

A nummular dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection is likely.
