Scar Yeast Infection

Hi.  I was scarred on the tip of the penis by a wart removal (it was inspected and confirmed by a doctor afterwards).  I know scars fade eventually, but the expansion/contraction of the penis and friction from sex aggravates that area and it is not fading as my normal scars do.  Sometimes it's a whitish area, but becomes red after aggravation.  How can I help it fade?

To make matters worse, a bandage I had to help protect that area caused a yeast infection.  The infection is now gone, but the dime-sized area of the infection remains reddish.  I've read that yeast infections can leave permanent discoloration, although mine has improved slightly with age.  Is it possible this discoloration will fade entirely?

I don't think there's much you can do but wait.  if that fails, you'll need to ignore it......

Yeast infections are superficial and may leave redness for a while, but not permanent scarring.  It's best to leave these red marks alone and do as little as possible.  Redness intensifies when the skin is rubbed or heated up, but that's just an optical effect and means nothing.  No need to modify your sexual practices.  Patience!

Best.
