Hello,
For the wound culture, a swab sample from the wound is taken with the help of a swab stick and then culture is done in specific medium in the lab. This will clarify the diagnosis as well as the antibiotics which are required for the treatment.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

doctor gave me many antibiotics and an ointment...this ointment seems to worsen it, skin becomes more porous and such watery thing come out of it, they dry and stay on the surface skin like salt..granules... bt he's recommended me to keep using it as the steroid induced consequence takes some time like two-three months to heal...it itches and is so worse..it spreads on cheeks and im embarrassed to expose myself in public. im trying to keep low profile. im taking megadox antibiotic and applying metronidazole gel..
how is the bacterium cultured? does this inflammation have bacteria??
Thank you so much. im still a little hopeful.. if it would not get all right i wonder if i could undergo plastic surgery..

Hello,
It is best to get this watery discharge cultured so that any sort of infection like bacterial infection is ruled out. Get a culture sensitivity of the discharge done and then start with those particular antibiotics which are sensitive to the infecting organism.

Hi,
Thanks for the query

It seems to be like eczema. The treatment would be steroids as the mainstay of treatment along with antihistaminics like cetrizine or diphenhydramine given for itching.
Please see a Dermatologist for examination and evaluation to come to a diagnosis and the treatment accordingly.

You can use emollient cream  after bath with lukewarm water. You can also use a moisturiser.
There is no cure of it. But you can prevent it by avoiding the allergen like perfumes, soap.
Avoid foods to which you are allergic.

Wish you a good health

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be cysts, acne vulgaris or impetigo sores. Try changing your lifestyle like eating proper diet, getting a good amount of sleep and drink at least eight glasses of water daily.  You can also clean your face regularly with Cetaphil, use hypoallergenic skincare products and apply antibacterial topical medications.

If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
