Skin Problem

Hi There,

I have a bubble like scar on my chest just under my neck. It's been there for almost a year and started from a pimple that I squeezed. What can I do to get rid of it? I've tried picking and squeezing but there's nothing in there, it just bleeds then scabs then returns to the same annoying bubble.
Its quite noticible by the place that it sits so I'm limited to what I can wear.

Please help???

Thankyou for your reply.

I went to a doctor and they too can't explain what it is. They suggested I apply Vitamin E oil to it twice a day. I started this two days ago, so I'll see how that goes,

I just can't wait till it goes away.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be due to a cyst or a hypertrophic scar. Cysts may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
