Small itchy bumps on hands

Hi,

Over the last couple months I've been having this problem with these small bumps on my hands. Some of them are filled with a clear liquid and some are not as you can see in the picture. They come and go, getting worse and for some reason got better. Here's some pictures of the bumps: http://oi44.tinypic.com/epry3k.jpg and http://oi42.tinypic.com/xcn1bo.jpg

Also, I seem to be having a separate issue where small pieces of skin come off on my hands. Here's a healed one: http://oi41.tinypic.com/29d6d5.jpg

Does anyone have a clue what it is or what it could be and how I could treat it?

Thanks alot for any help, this has been really annoying the past couple months.

Hello,
Sorry replied to another post earlier.

Two possibilities which need to be ruled out for such symptoms are of contact dermatitis and pompholyx. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. But some triggers like allergic reaction to soaps, detergents, foods, latex, nickel etc may trigger the symptoms. Apply some calamine lotion on the affected area and keep the area well moisturized. Use only thin applications of moisturizer ointments as excessive amounts of ointment may restrict breathing of the skin and aggravate the condition.

Topical steroids can be applied but they are available under prescription. Moreover to prevent infection, topical antibiotics may be needed. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.

Hello,
You may need several sessions of cryotherapy before each spot clears completely. You will need to wait two to three weeks between each treatment session and you have to wait for intercourse till there is complete healing.
