Small red itchy bumps

For months and months,I have had tiny red itchy bumps on the bottom of both my feet. The red bumps are also starting to appear on my ankles....I have had the exterminator come in and check for bedbugs, which there was no sign of.I got rid of the mattress I was sleeping on when they started, still no relief in sight. I got rid of my fuzzy house shoes, thinking something may be living in them,no help there either.
.Can someone shed some light on this for me please?
These things are driving me nuts. I thought it could be athletes foot, treated that to no avail....Also,I have treated for chiggers.no help there either,so,I have decided after a year of going through this,I am calling a dermatologist to get mine seen about.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These itchy bumps can be due to contact dermatitis, pompholyx or scabies.

You can apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. Also apply calamine lotion and take oral steroids for the same.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Do you walk out in the grass, possibly walking through ant nests?  They look like ant bites to me, which linger and itch for about 3 weeks.  I usually get them on the tops of my feet and ankles.  Instead of starting bad, they get worse after a week or so.
