Sticky/waxy skin and hair

Hello,

I’m at breaking point due to sticky/waxy skin and hair. Worse when wet, hands stick to everything. Skin has a friction to it that makes washing/shaving etc very difficult.

It’s gradually got worse, nothing absorbs into my skin now as it has a waxy film on it, I also burn up with it as I no longer sweat.

Medications I take are fluoxetine and Diazepam, I have tried everything I can think, changing soaps/shampoo/washing powder etc.

Seen my GP and Dermatologist and they are clueless, someone please help?

Thank you.

I am still dealing with this misery. I have spent $1000 of dollars on every skin care product out here. My hair has completely fallen out. Whatever this is destroys $300 wigs in a matter of minutes. I feel ugly and disfigured. I just don't know what to do anymore. The only thing that seems to help a little bit is using tea tree oil.
I’m looking for an active thread. I can’t seem to find one where there’s much activity. I really need to connect with other people going through this hell.  My skin is so dried out because it won’t absorb anything. Nothing works. I’m almost unable to function because of this pain. No one listens or believes me and I’ve worn out my options as far as any medical doctors go. Showering hurts and there’s literally nothing accomplished when I do take one. It’s like washing a rubber suit. The water just seems to strengthen it and soap just slides off my skin. When I get out my skin is all sticky and anything I did get off doesn’t matter because it’s just replaced anyway.  I joined the mold and morgellons Facebook group and have found a lot of information there. I can’t snap out of this foggy head space and haven’t been able to implement any protocols because I can’t seem to finish anything I start. My teeth hurt and I look thirty years older because of all the hair, lint, and dirt stuck on my body. It seems to really settle into any creases or scars I already have.
Have you looked at your hair in the dark with a flashlight? Does it have a green hue to it  almost like algae or mold?

A regular light? I’ll do that now. What would it indicate? The hair on my scalp isn’t mine.  I know that sounds insane. It’s an almost fluorescent “platinum blonde” (what others call it). What I  call the rats nest is a tangled ball of more blackish hair, and it’s not always present. I’ll check the light thing, I’ve got to work up courage but I’ll post what I see. I hope you read this and can let me know what it means. Thank you.

Try washing with boric acid. I know that sounds weird but that's only thing I hv found that helps. Let it set for a few before you rinse off.

Did you know that eyewash has boric acid in it?

It sounds like biofilm. Try to use a cotton ball and alcohol and see if it's not dark tan like you rubbed off a suntan. I believe I read that borax can help

I have the same issue! I honestly don’t know if be always had it or if it started within the last four or five years. It’s ruined my life! That’s for flippin sure HOWEVER!! I did read today about Rope Worm, it’s a parasite, look it up!!!! Then look up mimosa piduca seeds...I heard that gets rid of it!!! Also, a separate Lemon and separate eucalyptus enema. I just read about all of this, so I haven’t tried any of it but you better believe first thing tomorrow morning I’m going to sprout to get me some mimosa piduca seeds!!stay in touch I know how lonely this gets!

I have the same thing. I live in a warmer climate, and the overheating is awful. I don’t even know if my sunscreen absorbs in to my skin. I’ve had multiple blood tests done, but everything comes back normal. I barely leave the house anymore. I don’t even talk to people anymore because what is the point?

Thanks for the reply, it’s mainly hands, feet and scalp/hair but other parts stick, like feet also.

Doctors dismissed it as ‘everyone gets sticky’, it’s beyond that though, it waxy and the skin almost goes numb to the touch, razor causes friction on skin as do towels etc, I just have to pay my skin.

Where it’s worse I also seem to get burning skin and things like moisturiser, face wash don’t absorb , just bead on my skin. I’m stuck.

Do you get any answers about this?  I hope you have found relief.  I have this condition on my hands and shins (very shiny like plastic!). I have tested positive for Covid-19 and closely following that, this condition started.  So strange...  but I expect it to go away.  I can’t help but think the virus has effected something internal that is causing this.  My hair was weird for a few weeks but seems better now.
Hey, I would suggest doing the Aperiomics Xplore-Patho test. Please post your results here.
I bought  that specifics test for $1000. They said results in 7 days or so. After the 10th day they sent me a letter saying due to uncontrollable  company issues they could NOT do my test. Pretty wierd. I think they did not want to report the results. Why would  they say that after 10 days and after taking my money. I finally got a refund.  I'm positive they found something  because they let me put everything I thought was a parasite  or infection  inside specamine jar. So disappointing.  It was Mt last hope for a diagnosis.

Is it all over your body? Just on your hands?

Did your doctors say that you have waxy skin and hair, or that they didn't notice it?

There are some conditions that can cause waxy skin - hypothyrodism, diabetes, for a couple of examples - but the locations of the waxy skin is usually limited to the hands or shins.

Not sweating is something you need to address.

Fluoxetine typically causes more sweating, as can diazepam, rather than reduce it.
