Unilateral Facial Rash

My sister, who lives in Canada, has this chronic painful, itching facial rash.  A biopsy showed eczema.  However, this has been ongoing for 10 months.  All tests for autoimmune diseases have come back negative.  Any suggestions as to what this can be?

Do you there could be a correlation to two dental implants on that side of the face?  They were inserted a month before the outbreak.  Rash started as a few pimples and progressed to reddening and then crusting.  Rash initiated on both hands.  Thank you for all your help.  The Canadian doctors have been mystified.

Despite the panel for auto-immune disease has come negative one would tend to think od DiscoidLupus Erythematosis(DLE) As a plasusible differential diagnosis, a localized plaque of psoriasis is very much on tha card. A florid form of eczema can indeed occur but should have responded to medication.Another biopsy is indeed would be in order to get a immunofloresence study for Discoid LE.
Best wishes.
