What is this red raised area on my upper abdomen?
I asked this in the cancer section as well.
A little over a month ago I noticed a red area on my skin. This dog developed into a raised red area. It then grew into 2 raised areas. Now there's a small red bump just below it. None of it itches it bothers me. In fact, if I don't look at it, I don't notice it at all. My PCM said it looks like a bug bite but I've never known a big bite to last well over a month. Nore have I ever had a bug bite that didn't itch. I wish I could put a picture up on here to show it. Could it be a sign of cancer?
I'm days away from turning 42, pretty healthy and active though I tend to tire sometimes and find I need a lot of catch up sleep in the weekends. Other than that, I have a persistent very mild sore throat on the right side only.
