What is this?

About 4 years ago my boyfriend was working for the city and came home one day with what looks like a ring worm on his cheek. I took some tissue and put some meds on it. After a while, I started getting them and been getting them off and on since then. I also started getting this small bumps every where with clear water like liquid in it and its VERY itchy and irritated by hot water. And I started getting black bumps on my shoulder that turns into sores after I keep scratching them. I wish to the heavens that this can go away. I had cream a long time ago but it didn't work so I stop using it. Please help!!!! What is this and what can I do to get rid of it I don't have insurance I pay out of pocket. And I'm tired of paying the doc when my problem is not being solved. I am going to try and attach some pics on my profile or something. Please help!!!!

It's not crusting. It's just bumps that turn into black spots/ or sores if I scratch them.

Ringworm, if that is what you have, is a fungus and needs to be treated with antifungal creams or tablets.

The bumps with the clear liquid sound like a fungal infection.  If they are crusting and weeping and crusting over again, this couldbe impetigo.  Again this is very contagious and you will need an antifungal cream for this.  Keep the areas clean and dry, avoid sharing towels and pillows and contact whilst you have this problem.  Once you apply the right antifungal cream for this, the itching will go.

How do you get ringworm?
Ringworm is passed between people through direct skin contact and by sharing objects such as towels, hairbrushes and bedding.

Pets, such as dogs and cats, can have ringworm and can pass it on to people they come into contact with.

Best wishes
