White dot on my lip?

Ok I have this single white dot on my lip for almost 7 months! Is on my lower lip, is small and only visible if look closely. Doesn't hurt or itch and when I touch with my mouth it normally turns white I guess cause I keep rubbing it. I put on those chip lips cream hoping it'll go away but it hasn't. I want to go see a doctor about this cause its been there too long. Before I do I was hoping what could it be. I normally don't kiss at all so I know is not std. But what could it be?

Yes, most often leukoplakia is caused by tobacco use, although doctors used to say that it could also be caused by eating alot of hot peppers or drinking hard liquor. They are usually not dangerous, according to what the oral surgeon told me years ago, but he cut it out anyway.

This sounds like a leukoplakia. I had one on my lip many years ago where I held cigarettes in my mouth. It was excised and has never returned.
