Why do I have little sores between my vagina and anus

I'm 17 years old and for almost a year or two I keep getting these really painful sores between my vagina and anus. I've never had sex before and no one/nothing has come into contact down there. I also take very good care down there so why do I keep getting these little sores that almost like paper cuts or a split lip?? They usually come when I get my period and last for a few weeks at a time. Theres no swelling or lumps just one or two little sores or splits that come out of no where. I've been using this haemorrhoid cream but i don't think its doing anything to help. Also when water touches them or I spread my legs too far my whole downstairs region starts to really hurt like the sores have ripped.

It is possible that this is Lichen Sclerosus (please don't be alarmed by the images you see if you google it - that is for untreated LS and you'll be catching yours early!). A gynaecologist can diagnose this - it's helpful to go when the cuts / sores are visible.

Have you found out what was wrong. Sound similar to my situation.

It sounds like it might be thrush, a yeast infection. Its pretty common and treatable. Small tears are common with that. The only other thing with similar symptoms is genital herpes, but that is typically transferred sexually and if you have not been sexually active then that's not typically an option.

There might be something you can get for thrush from the pharmacy, without a script. If it does not help, see a doctor and get tested.
