Worrying skin condition, please help!

While I would like to visit a doctor about this, I simply can't afford it. This rash has been with me two months or so now, it only itches sometimes and sometimes stings. It is mostly on my forearms, the backs of my hands, and my legs, it is quite sparse on my chest, only a few spots. It gets scaly on the back of my hands sometimes, and seems to result in a fair bit of dead skin, if I scratch it it's like a guy with dandruff scratching his head. It hasn't spread or receded in about a month now.

Please help, this is really worrying me.

Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This can be due to atopic dermatitis or psoriasis. Psoriasis is a long-term (chronic) skin problem that causes skin cells to grow too quickly, resulting in thick, white, silvery, or red patches of skin.It is thought that psoriasis occurs when the immune system overreacts, causing inflammation and flaking of skin.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
