all over insanely itchy skin

I don't know if these things are connected but I started out with many years of moccasin athlete's foot on both feet that I couldn't get to go away despite various OTC (eg cortisone or antifungal creams) and folk remedies at various times with only temporary results (eg apple cider vinegar or H2O2 and borax or magnesium oil or lavender oil or diluted clove oil).

Then for the last several months the area on top of my left forefoot got really bad and would itch insanely and then ooze clear liquid and the skin would thicken and then the cycle would repeat over and over. It was all red and bubbly skin.

My arms and hands broke out with 100s of little itchy bumps (like an allergic rash). In days, it spread to various parts of my body including my scalp, my stomach, my thighs (front and especially back) and my forefeet. I can only sleep several hours and am awakened especially by a burning, itchy (suffocating) rash around my neck.  The little bumps stay but kind of fade out after a couple of weeks. The itching attacks come randomly throughout the day. It is an insane itch at times I feel I am going to die! Two weeks into this rash, my skin would have a burning sensation. Right now, I itch here and there, sometimes insanely.

In the beginning OTC Benadryl helped, mostly by knocking me out. In the beginning dabbing milk of magnesia temporarily controlled the itch. Then I started to use clove oil diluted in extra virgin olive oil and this would temporarily control the itch. But now the skin kind of has a burning sensation when I try to use these folk remedies.
When the scalp would get insanely itchy, mayonnaise on my head helped or other times apple cider vinegar then diluted borax then shampooed out and using a conditioner with some tea tree oil and lavender stopped the insane itching for days. I repeated when the itch came back and it stopped it again. My scalp doesn't itch too much now but the rest of the body does here and there, off and on, lightly to insanely.

My physician assistant isn't sure what is wrong with me. She thinks my left forefoot was severe athlete's foot and prescribed me clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate USP, 1%/0,5% and my left forefoot became almost healed. The skin is still a little itchy and a little bubbly but back to normal skin color and no more oozing or insane itching. I used it under my breasts and the skin is back to normal color but still a little rash remains. My PA didn't want me to use the cream all over my body and prescribed 2% Nizoral shampoo (antifungal) twice a week. I'm not sure its helping yet but I still itch time to time and sometimes bad. For my arms my PA thought I had Keratosis Pilaris and an allergic rash. She prescribed me a 12% Laclotion (lactic acid) to exfoliate and moisturize. This has kind of helped but has not cured.

For the past week, I've also switched my diet to more whole foods from the farmers market and minimal processed foods.

My PA won't refer me to a dermatologist or allergist right now.

What's going on me? Are these isolated or are all fungal related? Systemic fungal infection? How to heal from this once and for all! Suffered and still do so much, please help!

Id reactions( autoeczematization) are the response of body to fungi, so do to bacteria -bactrid reactions. While I do not dicount such a possiblity less likely since these are blistery.Wishing you speedy recovery.

Basically you have to heal the initial fungal/candida or whatever infection/virus, etc and then the rash should take care of itself. It may be treated with eczema/anti-itch lotions.

Thanks again maatson, I've been non-stop researching online.
I think I've come to a similar conclusion as you...its the body being allergic to its own fungal/candida infection. Cure the core fungal infection and it will eventually cure the total body allergic (itchy rash/eczema) reaction to it?

I came across this same time seeing your new response::

"WE ARE SUFFERING FROM A GENERALIZED, ALLERGIC SKIN REACTION TO A FUNGAL INFECTION. WHICH IS WHY IT IS DIFFICULT FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO IDENTIFY AN INFECTIOUS AGENT."

Thank you maatson! At this point I was wondering scabies, parasite, and gluten too. Nobody else in the family developed any itching so far. I still wonder about candida too because when I take candida folk remedies like the probiotic pills or grapeseed extract within several hours I start to smell bread dough smell on my body for about 24 hours. The fungus on my foot and under my breasts got night and day better with a prescription antifungal cream but its the all over itchy (on and off) skin body rash (little flesh colored bumps remains and sometimes the skin burns) I don't know is related or not to the other fungal problems.

Thanks for validating the scabies and gluten possibilities!

It would be wise to rule out scabies.Any family or friends with itching? Dermatitis herpetiformis might be another but generally related to gluten sensitivity.

psss I was reading on this forum that if it was an allergy rash on my arms, the bumps wouldn't last beyond 24 hours, though new ones could spring up. My bumps lasted two weeks and seem to be a little smaller. Some scabbed over from itching too much. In the beginning of the arm rash, anything could set it off (e.g. shea butter or tea tree oil or magnesium)

PSS I forgot to say when my arms broke out my facial skin got very rough feeling and itchy but the laclotion brought back my smooth facial skin. Also my stools have been light tan and less often for the past two weeks as well. I don't, repeat do not, have fever or aches/pains.

PSS When I take acidophiles or grapefruit seed extract tincture, I especially get a bread dough, yeasty smell to my skin. I don't know if this is yeast die off? When I stop the two, the smell is gone but skin itchy rash and bumps remain. When I ate healthy for the week, the problem seemed to tone down a little but still there.
