black spots on pubic area

hi, just today I was using the restroom and looked down and noticed several small black marks on my skin on my upper pubic area. i'm an 18 year old female and im not sexually active or anything so it couldn't be an std.. does anyone know what this could be? i'm scared..

If you shave or wax the area then it can be due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks.

Topical treatments with acids and chemical peels can be effective but can take a while for the skin to totally revert to its normal color.  Microdermabrasion can also be done, but this might require several sessions.  Skin resurfacing using lasers is also an option.  
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
