bruises and joint aches

A couple weeks ago I had the flu, or what seems like a normal 24 hour flu. Then a few days later, my back was hurting so bad. Probably the worst I've ever experienced. I just assumed I slept bad that night and took ibuprofen which helped. Then the very next day I couldn't get up from the bed or the couch because my knees had felt like they were sprained. I live on the 3rd floor with no elevator so it's very difficult to go down or up the stairs. This pain started last Monday and still hurts now on saturday. Then on Wednesday i woke up with my left wrist also hurting like it was sprained. Then Thursday I woke up and my right wrist is hurting an insane amount also like my left wrist. It's been a few days and my wrists and knees hurt like crazy. Nothing seems to help, ice nor heat. Yesterday on Friday I noticed little rashes Forming on my lower legs from the knees down. These rashes have swelled and hurt like bruises. And my toes also hurt and I can't curl them. I also can't walk very well because my left hip and shoulder seem to be out of place. I have looked all over the Web and can't find any answers. I'm going to go in to see the Dr on tuesday but I just want to know now what is going on with my body. I'm eating just fine, I'm not overweight for my body or age. I sleep a well amount if hours every night. Just can't get good exercise with all the pain. Is it something to do with the "flu" that I thought I had? Anyone know what's going on? Please state your knowledge!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Joint aches and rashes are common manifestation of viral infection. You need to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Also apply warm compresses and take some anti inflammatory pain killer for the joint pains. Lupus is another possibility to be ruled out. You may need to undergo blood tests for the same.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
