brushing around bug bite

I woke up with what looks like a bug bite, and there were two purpura like spots around the bite (they aren't bites for sure). A few hours later, the spots increased in number. should I be worried?

Are you in any pain from this spot?  Are you still seeing the spots increase?  It sounds like it's worth having a doctor take a look at it, especially if it's getting worse.

no its just slightly itchy. the bump from the bite has gone down, and the spots haven't increased.

Sounds like it's getting better- I wouldn't overly worry about it if it's improving, but just keep an eye on it and if it starts to get worse or bothers you more, give the doctor a call and have them take a look at the area.
