bumps on penis

Three days ago I noticed a grouping of about eight very small bumps along top side of my penis. They are no more than one or two millimeters wide and their tops are somewhat shiny. I have noticed that the bumps will get red if I rub or touch them. The affected area of skin is not itchy, and there have been no problems when I urinate (e.g. no burning sensation or trouble passing urine).

I should mention that I had sex five days ago but the area that contains the bumps was covered by a condom.

I have included a picture of a couple of the bumps. Any insight into what the bumps are and what caused them would be greatly appreciated.

They become red after having rubbed them a bit. Also, I had to stretch the skin out a little so that they could be clearly seen for the pic. Usually they are the same color as the surrounding flesh when I do not touch them.

Forgot to mention in my initial post that they feel grainy, like sand.

I checked out some health forums and from what I have have the bumps may be sebaceous cysts.
