bumps on penis

About 2 months ago I noticed a small red, pimple like, bump about 1mm wide on the bottom of my penis shaft.  i popped it and a little white hard ball came out.  after that i was concerned, i have been watching my genitals to see if anymore would pop up.  i then noticed a few pearly looking bumps about the same time on the front side of my shaft, i tried to pop these as well but they arent filled with anything and end up leaving a red sore so i stopped.  i do have one near the head of my penis though that is irritating, its in the soft part of my skin and when erect during sex can end up being uncomfortable at times, when i touch it, it feels a bit sore and one time the skin around the bump seemed to become dry and irritated, maybe from sex.  I want to speak to a doctor but I am not sure what kind of expert i should confront with my problem.  These bump are only from the base of my shaft up to the head, I dont notice anything around my pubic area or even my scrotum.

Hi,

This could be fordyce spots which are small, bright red or purple papules that can appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100. They are painless and not itchy, but may cause embarrassment because of their appearance.  They are abnormally dilated blood vessels, covered by thickened skin. However, they may bleed if injured or even during intercourse. This condition is a normal occurence and are not infectious or sexually transmitted.
