bumps

i started getting these little bumps below my bottom lip about a year ago. I have tried to pop them and it does not work, so i'm guessing they are not pimples. there are probably 6 tiny bumps there and recently two of them got infected and causes excrusciating pain. it feels like an in grown pimple, but the pain is worse. the first one i got popped, but a week later another one got infected. i've just beeen curious on what these bumps were so if someone has an answer please tell me thank you

i just looked at sebaucus prominence and it says thats genital warts on the penis. I'm not a guy and its like on my face but i dnt think its infected hair follicles. sorry i think i explained it to vaguely its like tiny little bumps that has been there for over a year. somtimes one gets infected and blows up swelling my bottom lip. it's in between the bottom lip and my chin that little crevice. it becomes very infected and painful and starts to puss. i dont think its a pimple though because theyve been there for so long hope that clarified my question!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be sebaceous prominence or infected hair follicles. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
