chicken pox scars

hi, im 19 years old and i got chicken pox a month ago from my nephew, i had a severe case that my entire body was covered, even on the private parts. now all that's left are these scars, a lot of scars. the ones on my face was lessen because i applied bleaching cream on them. but my problem is the scars on my torso and on my legs, they are so many and very obvious and dark, and it is very depressing seeing them. is there any way that this scars could disappear? will they fade in time? will the bleaching creams help in fading the scars on my torso and legs? please help me. thank you so much.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be scars scar with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Without treatment, this usually takes about 6 months to resolve and for the skin color to go back to its normal color.  Topical treatments with acids and chemical peels can be effective but can take a while for the skin to totally revert to its normal color.  Microdermabrasion can also be done, but this might require several sessions.  Skin resurfacing using lasers is also an option.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
