finers peeling

Mostly in the fall and winter time my fingertips and around the nail will start peeling. I have tried lotions, creams, and nothing will help. They will continue to peel. They don't itch or anything else just peel.
Anyone have ideas?

Not a cure...just help.
Found what works for me in moisterizing...

AmLactin cream...the lactic acid ingredient helps heal the dermis and epidermis by healing the collagen of the hand skin.
Eucerin cream...the urea ingredient helps with moisture by softening the skin.
combined they keep my hands from getting too bad.
