Yes, There are more modern laser therapy methods rising that offer a more focused light that can be more secure and safe used on the ones who've darker skin with less headaches. Laser hair removal treatment would be the better solution for removing the unwanted hair.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Laser hair removal is not 100% fullproof and some miniature hair may be left even after multiple laser hair removal sessions. Also it is not without side effects and may cause redness, erythema, hyper or hypopigmentation and sometimes burning and dryness of skin. So discuss all the pros and cons with a dermatologist before getting it done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
