lip discoloration

hello sir,
i have pale discoloration on middle of my bottom lip, upper lip is absolutly normal,
i noticed it many years before now it gradually increases, my lips are dry in nature,
mostly i remain under sun light, when i meet any body first tim they ask about my lips,
yeh! i recurrent suffer from lip blisters like herpez! now it is reduced. thanks

thanx for your reply, sir i am not smoker and do not take any drug for long time, yeh! my discoloration may be due to recurrent blisters, but sir
how can i get rid of this discoloration is there any solution for this? thaks

Hi,
You have not mentioned if you are a smoker because smoking is one major factor that can be held responsible for causing discoloration. It is not a chronic disease, but  is  a cause of concern, especially for people conscious about their looks.
Also certain drugs and certain medications can cause the same thing.
However in your case sinmce you have mentioned recurrent lesions of herpez on lip it could be due to this.
When blisters heal they usually leave behind this pale discoloration.
