heya, my boyfriend has athlete's foot and i accidently washed his socks with the bed linen now on the bed. I just wondered if i'd catch anythin from doin this as the heat setting was only a 40 degree cycle.

You should wash the bed linen again as the temperature setting was 40 degree Celsius. The ideal temperature setting should be 60 degree Celsius. Lower temperatures will not kill the fungus and can transfer spores to other fabrics in the same load.
