MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Sudden itchy bumps all over the body are usually due to viral rashes or allergic reaction. First of all take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. Also consult a dermatologist as you may need topical as well as oral steroids.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you for posting, I went to the ER and the dr looked at only my upper back an told me it was scabies, but after I told him that I live with my kids and my husband and none of them have any kind of rash at all, then he seemed confused but never said what else it could be, just gave me a script for permethrin and told me it would help clear it up. I did the treatment last night but my rash looks nothing like scabies and no one else in my house has them andI have had this rash for over a month now, I'm afraid the cream isn't going to make it better. We cleaned, washed and vacuumed everything just in case but I truly believe it isn't scabies. My husband and I looked over my entire rash and can't find any burrow marks and I don't have the rash is any of the common places for a scabies rash, like the bottom of the feet and inbetween toes or fingers or the palm of my hand, armpits, wrist, butt, nipples and waistline. I don't know what to do.
