spots on hands

A couple of fews ago I developed what I thought was a bruise on my left hand between my thumb and index finger. It's gotten darker though, and now appears to be two symmetrical flat moles. Then about five days ago, I noticed that I had developed a large round mole on the ring finger of my right hand. I've been wearing a ring on that finger for over a decade so I don't think that could be the result of sun damage. The mole seems to be largeish and seems to have appeared rather quickly. Now I'm also developing some more spots on my right hand, that look like sun spots, except that I'm only 24, use suntan lotion and live a healthy lifestyle. I've been worrying myself sick over these as I've been waiting to get a dermatologist appointment. Any reassurance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,

It can be due to lentigenes.Use liberal amounts of sunscreen before the age of forty, avoid the sun, and wear protective clothing. The newest treatment for age spots is an alpha hydroxy acid gel or beta hydroxy acid gel.  Retin-A cream, alpha hydroxyacid peels, and liquid nitrogen therapy are other options.

I hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

it could be some reaction from the metal of your ring with some agents such as detergents... try to remove your ring for the mean time maybe it would heal... try to put some OTC antifungal creams on it... and avoid washing your hands with hard soaps... use hypo allergenic soaps... in your other hand... can't see what it look like... it could be your prolonged sun exposure... is it itching? if not, try to have some blood test such as CBC and Platelet count... maybe it could be some basophil or eosinophil reactions... ^^
