stingy pain on the face

Hi there, It's been two days that it happened. I'm worried that this will continue. Recently, my face had this stingy pain (it's like u had these small bites(itchy&pain) on the face) feeling when i wake up and it also turns to be itchy at night when i sleep. I also notice my cheek area was all in red when i wake up as if i had a sun burn. Is there any relation between this stingy pain feeling with me having not enough sleeping hours recently. Bcuz i've only had 2-3 hours of sleep recently.. *I've been in an air-con room doing work at night, could it be due to over dryness from the air-con ?

Btw, since jan i've had pimples problem around my cheek and jawline too. Then i went to derma and applied some kind of transparent gel that they prescribe to treat pimples. and just 1 week ago the pimples are gone around my cheek areas and now comes this stingy pain when i wake up. When i look at mirror its just like a sun burned skin.

Also when i try to apply aloevera gel to cool it down, it hurts more but after that it will be better. This stingy pain only comes when i wake up. After i wash my face and all, it slowly goes off. Why is that ? and i don't thing it has anything to do with my cleanser bcuz i'm using Cetaphil.. Maybe i should moisturize my face more ?

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply. Appreciate your effort of providing recommendation here.

I've started using Cetaphil for 2 years and I think it helps a lot. Hardly get the stingy pain already but it still visits once in a while.

Thank you so much for your recommendation.

Hope you have a good day & god bless you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis or allergic reaction. The other possibility is of rosacea face. Rosacea is a cutaneous disorder primarily of the central part of the face , such as forehead; cheeks ;nose; and chin.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat it dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.

If the irritation persists then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

The few supplement that i've been taking is chrorella, spirulina, ginko tablet.
