30 Weeks Just Diagnosed with GD

Just found out after I passed my three hour test 4 weeks ago, that I am GD. I spike mostly after breakfast each morning. What do you ladies eat in the morning? My fasting check has been good before I eat but breakfast screws it up. Lunch and dinner isn't bad as long as I'm eating more protein. Supposed to take a medication morning and night and test 7 times a day. It's frustrating but, any tips on breakfast ideas? I do not like the taste of cheese so that has to be ruled out.

When I found out I had GD, the dietitian told me to stick to grains before lunch, not fruits and dairy. She said the pregnancy hormones are high in the morning so your body has a harder time getting iyour sugar down. Also, stick to whole wheat. True whole wheat will say 100% whole wheat. Oatmeal works, too. The dietitian basically said to stick to two servings of carbs for breakfast (30g).

Breakfast is always up around the 150-170's. Had two checks spread out over a week or so where I ate bad and it was just over 200. My readings after meals around 120-140's and before meals I'm around 80-100.
